Cindy Welch, R.N.

RN Cindy Welch, is a nurse of 40 years, with a 3 year old granddaughter diagnosed with hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy, cerebral palsy, and epilepsy. Also the mother to a 30 year old that was arrested several times for possession of marijuana while self medicating for the treatment of his Chron's disease. Ms. Welch's work experience traverses the spectrum from emergency rooms to hospice care, currently serving as staff development coordinator and weekend supervisor. She brings great insight into the Compassionate Care Act, how it's both working and not to aid in care of her family and others.
