April is a retired Staff Sergeant who served in the U.S. Army.  Since returning from Afghanistan in 2007, she has experienced chronic migraines.  After many years of trying to heal using prescription medications, she turned to medical Cannabis for pain relief while living in Washington State. She returned to Texas in 2015 along with her husband and 4 children and began advocating for Veterans and medical Cannabis.
