On election night, four more states (South Dakota, Montana, New Jersey, and Arizona) legalized marijuana for adult use, bringing the number of legal states to 15. A recent report indicates that Texas could bring in $1.1 billion in tax revenue per budget cycle, plus additional positive economic impacts. While a majority of Texans do support reform, there are reasonable concerns about this shift in policy.
